I’ve often looked at the lighting designed by Award winning Claire Norcross. Best known for her designs she produced while head of lighting at Habitat, she produces the most wonderful uniquely structured lighting. The Aperture light was inspired by a pine cone’s ability to open an close, adapting to weather conditions. It’s a versatile paper light shade in that you can open and close each aperture and direct the light to where you want – what a fantastic idea! I often see this in Utility. It’s definitely one of the light shades I’d love to own.
