Open Borders by Martín Azúa

I came across this project and had to blog about it! In a nutshell: he takes porous ceramic vessels, leaves them in a natural environment for a year and returns to see nature’s decoration. I love this concept! Of course it goes deeper, discussing the relationship between ornament and natural forms, modernism and the consumer market’s impact on design, all of which you can read about on his website.
